By integrating expertise in gut microbiome research, stem cell biology, human genetics, molecular biology, and bioinformatics, SKAN seeks to decode the complex interplay between genetics, environment, and aging in shaping human health.
Through strong partnerships with leading global and national institutions—including the University of Cambridge, Quadram Institute Bioscience, Narayana Health, IIT Roorkee, St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, Centre for Brain Research, Trans-disciplinary University and NIMHANS—SKAN has built a collaborative ecosystem that accelerates innovation and translation.
Our vision is to lead multidisciplinary, longitudinal, and mechanistic research programs that uncover the drivers of clonal evolution, microbiome dynamics, neurodegeneration, cardiometabolic disease, and healthy ageing in the Indian population and beyond.
