Biosketch

Ritika completed her PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Her doctoral research focused on studying the aggregation of myocilin protein and its modulation, using biophysical techniques and computational analysis.Her research interest lies in studying protein misfolding and aggregation in neurodegenerative diseases. Currently at SKAN-RT, she is studying how the gut environment can influence the amyloidosis of human alpha-synuclein protein, implicated in Parkinson’s Disease.
