Dr. Gannavarapu has been awarded a GIBA Mobility Award, supported by the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) through the UK Gut–Immune–Brain Axis (GIBA) Network. Through this award, Dr. Gannavarapu will contribute to strengthening SKAN-Quadram Institute Biosciences collaboration in gut–immune–brain axis research, leveraging his expertise in patient-derived organoids, gut-on-chip and gut–brain-on-chip models, intestinal barrier biology, and advanced in vitro systems
